What is your role at Hattaway?

 I am the office manager.

What are you currently working on that you are really passionate about, and why?

As someone new to the team focusing on administrative and operational responsibilities, I look forward to adding as much capacity as I can, freeing up headspace for the inspiring projects Hattaway has in progress.

What is currently igniting your imagination?

Lately, I have been excited about exploring different paths toward personal growth and have discovered daily actions I can take to operate as my best self. I was first introduced to this idea through Atomic Habits by James Clear. Initially, I applied the principles of making small changes every day that, over time, led to significant transformations in my physical health and wellness. Then, I expanded the approach to include my mental health by developing an attitude of gratitude. And since, I have embraced the freedom to engage in a daily exploration of behaviors and activities that bring me joy. I am a better person for the world around me because of this.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?

I like to style pieces from my closet and update my personal lookbook. I prefer to do this on a day off so that I can pull clothes out, reorganize them when I finish, and take my time to digitally catalog my pictures.

Also, I love attending events hosted by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, FITDC, and other local organizations.

What’s an essential part of your daily routine?

Memoirs, autobiographies, and biographical films inspire me because they are evidence that anyone can do amazing things with their passions and talents.
