Carrie is an account planner and brand strategist who focuses on matching deep audience insight with communications execution. She’s been called a strategic unicorn because of her two big strengths—the ability to discover a big idea that unifies and elevates a brand or issue, and the creativity to bring it to life.
Carrie’s work brings together research, insight, and creativity, along with powerful practicality that makes complex, integrated campaigns work and punch far above their weight. As the EVP at Hattaway, Carrie also makes sure we have the people, tools, and processes to do world-class work.
Before joining Hattaway she was a partner at global communications agency Porter Novelli, where she worked on everything from P&G to the CDC, addressing compelling issues including HIV prevention and testing, tobacco control, and maternal and child health. Carrie is always up for a discussion of books, style, or baking, and is a fervent (some say fanatical) follower of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team.
A native of Upstate New York, Carrie is a proud Swarthmore College alum & now resides in Virginia with her husband and two children.
