Junior Operations Associate

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Junior Operations Associate, you will assist with general administrative and office management duties that support our team. You will:

  • Assist with onboarding new employees
  • Book travel and coordinate logistics for the firm’s president
  • Help organize firm events
  • Greet and receive visitors
  • Receive packages and deliveries
  • Keep common office areas tidy
  • Maintain conference room technology
  • Perform spreadsheet creation and maintenance
  • Data entry (CRMs and others)
  • Collect and sort mail
  • Order and re-stock office supplies
  • Lead various administrative projects, as assigned

YOU HAVE:

  • A bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with relevant experience.
  • One to two years experience (working, internships, or volunteer) in administrative or operations support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive work ethic, with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate needs.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Mail/Calendar, and Apple/Mac OS.
  • A desire to work with others in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to an equitable workplace and the effort it takes to maintain one.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE:

  • Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
  • Experience using Zoom or a similar conferencing/screen share tool.

Our offices are located in downtown Washington, D.C., between the Dupont Circle and Farragut North metro stations. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience.
